About Me
Meghan Collins Conley: MC2, which, thanks to Einstein, can be plugged into my favorite equation to equal energy! This is a great way to describe me. I am very energetic, vibrant, and youthful, and yes, I admit, I'm a bit of a science nerd. I grew up in Los Angeles, CA, my family lives in Denver, CO and I live in New York City! I graduated from Ball State University in Muncie, IN where I earned my Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree in Musical Theatre. I graduated cum laude and was the secretary of Alpha Psi Omega, the national theatre honor society. My passion, is performing on Broadway, and sharing my knowledge with the next generation of aspiring performers!
I have been dancing since I was three and have been in over 30 shows. I was a member of several competitive dance companies as well as The St. Louis Hoofers Club, a touring pre-professional tap company directed by Professor Robert L. Reed. I was blessed to work closely with tap legends such as Dr. Jimmy Slide, Harold Cromer, Danny Daniels and custom tap shoe designers Avi Miller and Ofer Ben. I have continued to be driven by my desire to inspire those around me and by my philosophy that the arts can change people’s lives by lifting them out of apathy and causing them to feel something; anything. The way music and dance can reach people at a visceral level is my satisfaction, reason, and motivation for performing. I have pursued this passion not only by performing around the country, but also by teaching dance classes and workshops, working with children in theatre camps, and by choreographing middle school and high school musicals. In my free time I enjoy playing my ukulele and painting, though I admit I am not the best at either. Finally, I am very family oriented and cannot wait to continue my life in theatre with the ones I love most.
